Sport Kaiser
Sport Kaiser is a regional sports retailer that relies on advice. With bikes in particular, its strength is the personal recommendation: which bike really fits the use, budget and expectations?
The client
Online, but without a plan
A website, Facebook and Instagram already existed. But none of the channels had a clear job: posting was irregular and hardly any online visit led into the store.
The goal: strengthen the store, not replace it. Prospects should get to know Sport Kaiser before visiting and arrive prepared for advice. The hurdle: for many bikes the product data wasn't as detailed as a configurator would normally need.
The starting point
The solution
01 · Understand first, then build
In workshops we traced how customers find Sport Kaiser today – and where they drop off along the way. For the data, one question mattered: what can customers answer themselves, and what actually helps the team in the sales conversation?

02 · The bike configurator
At its core is a configurator: users say what they ride for, how much they want to spend and what matters to them. Then comes a clear next step – book an appointment, send an enquiry or simply drop by. And the team knows what it's about before the conversation starts.
03 · Every channel has a job
The website shows expertise and keeps the path to advice short. Recurring social media formats with a clear call to action steer attention to the configurator and booking. Reach turns into visits.

The result
Website, social media, configurator and booking now work together – with one goal: bringing people into the store. Customers arrive better informed, conversations don't start from zero and the threshold for a first enquiry is lower.
Better-fitting recommendations are also meant to reduce wrong purchases, follow-up questions and unnecessary trips. The configurator deliberately started lean and is growing step by step – with better recommendations, FAQs and more automation.
For specialist retail this means: online and in-store aren't rivals. Connected properly, each makes the other stronger.
