Energietechnik Bogner
Energietechnik Bogner from Garsten near Steyr is a full-service provider for building and energy technology: electrical, heating, plumbing and climate – for households, businesses and municipalities.
Founded in 1963 by Kurt Bogner as an electrical business and handed over to Robert Bogner in 1999, the company has been run by Felix Bogner in the third generation since 2025.
The client
Strong name, dated look
Bogner has been a household name in the region for decades. Its brand no longer showed it: the look had aged and barely conveyed how broad the business is today – from electrical installation to heat pumps and photovoltaics.
The generational handover was the right moment. The task: modernise the brand without unsettling loyal customers – while reaching commercial and public clients as well as new employees.
The starting point
The solution
We supported the fresh start from strategy to ongoing communication – in four steps.
01 · Brand first, then the logo
In a brand workshop with Felix and Robert Bogner and the team, we sharpened values, target groups and positioning. The result: Bogner stands for quality over price, a handshake you can rely on and solutions from a single source – down-to-earth, direct and technically skilled.
02 · A drop in the O
The new logo relies on a strong, clear wordmark. The O holds a drop: the old symbol lives on, reinterpreted for heat, water and energy.
Blue, red and white form the colour palette, and sweeping shapes run through every medium. Everything is captured in a CD manual – so the brand stays consistent in the future.

03 · From company van to business card
We carried the new design across every touchpoint: vehicle livery, window graphics, business cards, presentation folder, brochure, roll-up, delivery note, notepad, stickers and print ads. The new brand shows up wherever Bogner is out and about every day.

04 · Website and social media
The new website presents the full range of services, projects and job openings – clearly structured, with contact just one click away.
A social media concept with content days delivers projects, expert knowledge and a look at the team on Instagram and Facebook. It strengthens the brand with customers and helps with recruiting.

The result
Energietechnik Bogner now presents itself the way it works: modern, reliable and all of a piece. The generational handover is visible across the region – on the road, in the papers and online.
The collaboration continues. We keep developing the brand: new print materials, ads, social media content and advice on the digital strategy.
Our takeaway: a generational handover is the best opportunity to reposition a brand – as long as you take the tradition with you.
