As a fully integrated Independent Power Producer, CCE demonstrates its reliability throughout the entire process cycle from planning to operation.

Over the past 20 years, a broad product portfolio has been developed for photovoltaic solutions and energy storage. CCE covers the entire value chain in the construction of PV power plants, agrivoltaics, and storage solutions such as battery storage and hydrogen solutions.

Together for a better future - with their commitment to the climate goals of the European Union and the United Nations, CCE aims to promote the spread of green and ecological energy sources and advocates for greater environmental awareness among the population. The goal? To make the Earth livable for future generations.

We have solved it

An outdated website, complex content management, and internal processes spread across different platforms - these were the problems that CCE was confronted with.

The comprehensive CCE website was ready for a fresh look. With a new design, the company wanted to show that CCE is a modern, forward-thinking, and green company. Efficient and centralized content management was an important point in the website's content, as the company operates globally and thus the content needs to be maintained in multiple languages.

The processes running on different platforms, such as sick leave, signing up for a training course, or accessing company internal knowledge, should be managed and edited in one place, allowing for efficient and resource-saving work, and employees have all processes and information collected in one place.

The problem

We delivered

In consultations between the CCE team and our project team, the following solutions crystallized:

  • The renewal of the website

  • The development of an employee app, as a consolidated channel of internal processes for CCE employees

  • A digital signage solution

These 3 solutions are controlled in the background by the Headless CMS Storyblok by the CCE team.

The website receives a fresh design that represents CCE as a modern and future-oriented company. With the CMS Storyblok, the input and adjustment of content are efficiently designed, and AI-supported tools make translating the website easy and efficient.

The employee app combines internal processes in one place, providing relief and efficiency in their workflows. With the integrated knowledge database, CCE employees always have access to all information. The app also runs on Storyblok, thus offering simple and efficient content management.

For the signage solution, we have consciously relied on modern web technologies once again. This allows content to be played out location-independently and in real-time on a variety of screens - distributed across different countries at various CCE company locations. This approach enables central control and flexible adaptation of content, regardless of device type or local setup.

Our Competencies in Action

Omnichannel Experience

By implementing an omnichannel solution, we enable central content management through the Storyblok Content Management System. The different systems were connected and consolidated in a single interface. The challenge was integrating existing systems and workflows without disrupting or overlooking other processes. This was resolved through close collaboration and regular coordination to efficiently implement the project.

UX/UI Design

Before development, we conceptualized the design and structure of the website and app as a prototype in Figma. This allowed us to identify where errors, problems, and challenges arise and address them in advance. Particularly with the employee app, interesting use cases and challenges emerged.

App Development

We addressed the optimization of internal processes by developing an employee app where all CCE employees can access bundled processes in one place. For the app, we opted for a web-based solution to reduce redundancies in development and consequently development time. The result is two native apps for iOS and Android, as well as a flexible web app.

Web Development

As we focused on web-based solutions in the development of the website, employee app, and signage solutions, we were able to leverage our preferred web technologies in all areas - vue.js and nuxt.
