Exciting Talks
The choice of topics has been decided: Steyr's third digitization congress will focus heavily on the topic of accessibility. "Accessibility is an important topic that will continue to be part of our everyday lives in the future, espeically as we are anticipating new regulation on this topic" says Tobias Kammerhofer, Managing Director of the Werbeberg agency.
Three speaker slots are still available
This year there will be the opportunity for free slots for speakers. We cordially invite accessibility experts to contact us via events@wb.at with an informal proposal! All aspects of the topic are welcome.
European Accessibility Act (EAA)
The European Accessibility Act (EAA), which sets comprehensive accessibility standards for products and services across the EU, will be a key focus of this year’s congress. With the EAA enforcement deadline approaching, businesses of all sizes will soon need to adapt to ensure inclusivity and compliance. This year’s event will delve into the implications of the EAA, providing insights on how it impacts digital products, services, and infrastructure, especially for small and medium enterprises. Attendees will learn practical steps to integrate accessibility into their operations, making them not only compliant but also future-ready in a more inclusive digital landscape.
Several qualified speakers will shed light on the topic from different perspectives. Kammerhofer: "It is important to us that everyone can take something away with them. That's why the presentations are designed to be exciting, so that our event is an added value for the region, SMEs and all interested parties".
